We go here a lot. Never in the 2 years going have we had a problem. The building us kept lovely, the staff friendly, the food is fantastic. They personally select the wines and guest beers on here weekly. What more can you ask for!!!
Went for the vegetarian theme tonight and the spiced chickpea, aubergine and spinach burger was very nice. The thyme roasted plum tomato and feta tart was ok too. Lovely feel being in this pub. Ill definitely be back.
My friend and I have been meeting at this restaurant for 14 years, being a mid way point. Originally, the food was varied, delicious & reasonably priced. However, over the years the vegetarian choice has diminished, the portions are smaller & the prices have increased.After our last visit we have decided to start going to another restaurant in the area. We much prefer this other restaurant, food wise.& price wise.
Friendly staff, food came out quick (we were there at 4 pm which was not busy yet.) We enjoyed the food, both mains and deserts. However, when we got there (first time) we weren't sure whether to order at the bar or someone will come to the table as we sat at the dining area.
I come from down south...so.... The food up in this area is good and well presented. Friendly staff plus a nice relaxing atmosphere. Recommend defiantly.
