Good place for the family and dogs. There is alot of activities within the area including swimming pool, arcade, mini gym. There is a little shop and a club and also a chippy. Very good place to go on holiday, very fun.
Nice little site. Mostly everything you need. The park needs a bigger club house / bar as not enough room to fit all guest in, struggle to find a seat so end up going back to caravan and my son misses the entertainment.No enforcement from the staff to ensure smokers use the designated area's, people smoking just outside the shop, chippy, amusements and club house (bar) doors so me and our child have to walk through all the smoke.Because of the above we end up driving out to Blackpool for food and entertainment which is about 20 minutes drive.
Lovely camp site, has caravans, camping pods, lodges and tourers. The shop is good value for money. The arcade is great for the kids. Brilliant kids entertainment all day and night. The pool is lovely with a hot tub and sauna room. There's also a park and a field at the back of the park for football. Lovely staff members who are very friendly and really helpful. If you want to get out and about (but don't drive) there is a bus stop on the main road that goes up to Blackpool town centre (about 30 mins on the bus), these run every hour at 2 minutes past the hour.
Great site. Kids loved it. Clean spacious sites. Entertainment was good for the kids. Nice bar area. Few issues with travellers on site. There was no pass or key fob to get on to site. There is a barrier to get of thought, security needs to be improved.
Pleasant enough holiday park, but caravan pitches are quite close together. Good facilities, with a sort of village containing cafe, 3 bars, amusement arcade, launderette and supermarket. The latter was a good size and well stocked with a good range of fresh and frozen foods, as well as tinned and dry goods.My biggest gripe was the apparent lack of cleaning to the outside pavements around the shops and bars, and the outside seating areas. All would benefit from a good power washing!We had previously stayed at the Black Beck holiday park near Windermere, owned by the same company, and which was spotless by comparison. More space around the pitches too.
