Dont bother if youre going in on the weekend or only buying small /domestic purchases! Complete waste of time and petrol!!!!I called ahead midweek about what I wanted so wasnt wasting my time. Guy told me it was fine, nice and helpful to be fair. Said come down. Its an hour round trip for me, this place is only one I can find with this wood type around me, can only make it at the weekend. I got there with well over an hour before its mid day close, the guy at the counter couldnt be less interested. I knew this was going to be hard work as soon as I started speaking to him. Basically said nothing they can do today. It will be pricy and will take a week to cut to length maybe longer, for sawing abit of a 2x4 plank off. I could have done it myself in 5 mins. Waste of time, not interested. Walked out didnt buy anything. Maybe its a weekend thing, wont be bothering there again
What a fantastic timber merchant and hardware shop, Very friendly, excellent knowledge, nothing was too much trouble, the fencing products were the highest quality and such a huge selection to chose from. By far the cheapest fencing in the area. Will definitely use them again
After using previous companies for our fire wood to keep our community warm 24/7, i was amazed to find PH TIMBER for better quality of wood for our wood burner which runs 24/7 and its burning like no other previous wood or log supplier. Great FREE LOCAL DELIVERY is an extra bonus with their already great ton bag prices. Great customer service and always try and deliver within 24-48 hours knowing that we are an outside camp where wood burner is needed 24/7. From affordable decking to all kinds of timber, there is plenty of choice here for your projects and they are more than happy to provide advice. Bought my fencing and gravelboards from here and they are pretty reasonable. Also do a great price on scrap wood for those who still have a fireplace or woodburner.
