This estate agents is in my opinion highly unprofessional and extremely ignorant.We had a rental viewing at a property a month ago: Keepers Cottage, Thistleton Road, Preston, and was told the property was available with front and rear gardens as stated in the advert. At the time of viewing the landlord had a car parked at the back of the house during the viewing which was directly in-front of the back garden. We was told by Simon it was being moved without even questioning it and then after we had filled in all the lengthy forms, sent ID and got references, we was told the landlord suddenly decided he wanted to park his converted prison van motorhome in the backyard which would result in blocking the lovely garden and taking up the turning circle, making it difficult to park our vehicles on the driveway and leaving the tenant to view a unattractive ex prison van out of the back window. The landlord also required access to the shed which would be fine but absolutely none of this was mentioned in the first viewing or before we sent any of our personal details to this estate agent including the hassle of references and driving 75 miles to view the property in the first place, complete waste of time.When I tried to compromise, the estate agent did not bother emailing me back to answer questions I had even though I had emailed twice and was always polite; instead ignoring me but editing the advertisement. They said theyd get back to me but never did. This is appalling and not the level of professionalism you would expect and I would not want to put my trust in this estate agent as they are clearly not very committed and all is not what it seems. 1. Your lack of unprofessionalism and ignorance.2. You rent properties out with the landlord in the backyard. Thats just weird. We was told the previous tenant was a nightmare, and you wonder why? Dodged a bullet!
